Public Waste Decision Insights (PWDI) is a public-interest research initiative examining how waste facilities like landfills, incinerators, and transfer stations play a major role in how our communities manage garbage — but decisions about where they go, how they’re regulated, and who is affected aren’t always transparent or fair.
We’re inviting Ontario residents to share their perspectives on waste infrastructure, environmental priorities, and public decision-making. Your input will help build a clearer picture of what matters most to communities across the province — including health, fairness, sustainability, and trust in the process..

Data Handling & Publication Commitment:

Responses will be analyzed in aggregate.
No personal identifiers will be published.
Results will be released publicly in a summary format. (May, 2026)
